FITNESS | Make it Stick

We are so in awe of Susan. She’s healthy and fit. She’s also one of the busiest people we know. She swings from conference call to conference call like a trapeze artist, and then jumps on the midtown train for a day full of meetings. Comes home, picks up her sweet Phoebe girl at doggy daycare, heads home for some play time and then hits the gym, showers and heads off to an evening function, or hangs out in her Brooklyn pad, orders in and snuggles with Phoebe and goes through her email.

But the key thing to note, is that, no matter how busy the day, she always finds time to work out. How? She just makes it a priority. It’s just that easy. Easy for her, but why don’t the rest of us have the discipline to get our workout in? We come up with all kinds of excuses: too busy (so is she), it’s cold outside (she works out in the gym), we’re too tired (really?).
